SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
MISSION STATEMENT To provide basketball
players with the fundamental skills training that will aid in their advancement on the court. Our objective is to ensure that
each player develops the necessary skills that are essential for success.
We GUARANTEE All participants
who continually train with ALBC will become better skilled, competent and well rounded players All participates will be
provided with 100% individual instruction like having their own personal skills trainer
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Skills development
is the foundation of excellent play on the court. ALBC skill development covers every aspect of basketball fundamentals which
includes: footwork, passing, dribbling, defense, decision making, conditioning, shooting, post and perimeter play. The
key to ALBC Skills is mastery through repetition at game speed. Repetitive practice of fundamental skills in the correct manner
teaches the body how to perform a skill correctly. This "muscle memory" is retained in the athlete's subconscious so that
performing an athletic skill correctly requires no conscious effort. Through continuous training, player's overall skills
will improve dramatically, their confidence will grow, they will become more efficient and focused, and their game will advance
to
ANOTHER LEVEL
ALBC has developed a progressive, comprehensive, and intensive program to help you develop
your skills and overall conditioning. This program includes: Offensive Footwork Shooting Ball
Handling Speed and Agility Passing Defense Decision Making Post and Perimeter Play Moving Without the Ball This
program will feature: Experience Coaching Staff Great Facilities This program is designed for the serious
player that wants to take their game to ANOTHER LEVEL This program will
require hard work, dedication, great attitude, and a desire to learn.
